Please note that this is simply how I've decided to translate the text, and it certainly does not reflect the intent of the original creators. Even more so due to the fact that I've chosen to cut certain especially-problmatic content that I personally didn't want to read/write about. if you are looking for a more faithful translation, m808translates has made their own translation of the prologue, which is much more accurate to the original.
It's never possible to get a 100% accurate translation, of course, even if your primary goal is to be faithful. So I don't think altering it really that big of a deal. Of course if you disagree, feel free to make your own tranlation.
